A pre-need obituary, written with you while you are here, in your own voice, and held in our care until your family needs it.
The Living Legacy begins with a sitting: a warm, unhurried conversation where we gather your dates, your names, your stories, and the way you want to be remembered. From that sitting, our founder hand-crafts your obituary. You read every word. We refine together until it is right.
Then it waits with us, safely, for as long as it needs to. When the day comes, your family does not sit down to a blank page in the hardest week of their lives. They receive your story, finished and printed, ready to be read aloud.
A guided sitting that gathers your whole story, at your pace.
A hand-crafted obituary written in your voice. No templates.
Your review. Every word approved by you before it is held.
Safe keeping. Your finished Living Legacy is held in care until needed.
150 printed copies delivered to your family upon passing.
Every Living Legacy is written personally by our founder, from your sitting to your final review. It is one voice listening to one life, which is the only way this work should be done.
A private memorial webpage in your loved one's name, at its own web address, with a Memories wall where family and friends leave the stories they carry. It is the Living Legacy's companion: the written piece for the service, the page for everyone who could not be in the room.
A web address of their own. The domain is purchased in the honoree's name at the time the add-on is purchased.
A Memories wall, where visitors leave a name and a memory.
Family-reviewed. New memories are reviewed and posted weekly, so the page stays a kind place.
Removable at the family's request. Any memory comes down when the family asks.
Cared for by PSR for one full year from the day the page goes live.
If a memorial falls within 7 days of passing, printing and delivery are rushed at no additional cost. Always.
Families receive 25% off any additional PSR service within 60 days of their loved one's passing.
Your Living Legacy and Letter of Wishes are narrative documents. They tell your story and record your wishes in your own voice, so your family is never left guessing. They are not legal instruments. They do not replace a will, a power of attorney, or a legally designated funeral agent.
In Pennsylvania, a clearly written expression of your wishes can help guide your family and may be considered if questions ever arise, but only documents prepared through proper legal channels carry the force of law. For anything legally binding, we will gladly point you to a licensed Pennsylvania estate planning attorney. Many of our clients pair the two: PSR writes the story, an attorney secures the paperwork.
